Down Under Pottery was opened in March of 1997 with an aim to serve the Lincoln community with pottery classes and an offering of original hand-crafted pottery. Our founder, Kathleen Grossman graduated with a B.S. in art and psychology from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a M.F.A. from Wichita State University of Kansas.

We happily offer classes for adults at all skill levels. Our sales gallery is always open when someone is here or by appointment. The gallery offers a selection of functional pottery from several Down Under potters. We also feature other handmade gifts.

Some sales support The Lincoln Center for People in Need. We are the official provider of bowls for The Food Bank of Lincoln and The Seward and Beatrice back pack programs. Over the past 17 years we have earned over 1 million dollars for our community.

Our hours vary. There is only me but I live and work here so I'm usually here. Or call to make arrangements (402) 477-7655.
